confusing. The first thing you have to consider is your age and body build: 

particularly your height and weight. Next, ask yourself what level of 

activity you want to perform on your Trikke scooter. The final question 

you need to ask yourself is: what type of surface will you ride your Trikke 

scooter on? 

This is very important because different models are equipped with different 

wheel types that have different properties. Trikke T5 and T67 both have 

hard plastic wheels known as polyurethane or pu wheels. These tires are 

designed to offer almost no resistance when used over flat and smooth 

surfaces like the pavement of your sidewalks, roads and neighbourhood 

lanes. So for the beginners out there, these are the tires that will help you 

learn riding your Trikke scooters faster and easier.

But beware, Trikke pu wheels cannot be used on rough surfaces. Road 

obstacles like bumps, cracks or holes, as well as water puddles, will cause 

your Trikke scooter to skid off course and even worse… crash. That is one 

nasty experience that you don’t want to deal with. So, for those who prefer 

to go off-road or whose neighbourhood streets are made up of gravel, 

Trikke T78 and T12 roadster will be perfect for you. Both have air-filled 

rubber Trikke tires that provide better traction on rough and uneven 

surfaces. This means a stickier and smoother feel when carving over 

varied terrain for you but the same traction will also require you to work 

harder to move your Trikke scooter while training.
